Mission Statement
The Mission of the Peaceful Space Project is to unlock, tap, and redirect the innate leadership potential of future generations by providing Leadership Development Training to 'at-risk' and disadvantaged youth, their families, and their adult support systems based on the Prime Directive of the Human Family and the process of Creating of Peaceful Space.
Charter of the Peaceful Space Project, Inc.
- To provide direct services to youth K-12 and their families through the Wu-Te Performance Troupes, a Leadership Development Program for youth.
- To provide 'at-risk' and disadvantaged youth with personal development education and training, and career-directed mentorship to unlock their leadership.
- To provide assistance for 'at-risk' and disadvantaged youth to attend selected career directed education and training programs.
- To provide youth with recreational and training opportunities that will allow them to develop high ethical standards, self-motivation, self-discipline, and a value system based on the Prime Directive of the Human Family.
- To provide parents of 'at-risk' and disadvantaged children with instruction, training, and consulting services to enhance their knowledge of human development, develop their parenting skills, educate them in stress management techniques, and encourage them in making healthy lifestyle choices for themselves and their children.
- To develop the Wu-Te Performance Troupes into a model Leadership Development Program for youth and facilitated by youth, that can be implemented nationwide.
- To provide post-academic education, training, and personal coaching to teachers, parents, counselors, juvenile probation and corrections officers, and other professionals who work with youth, for the purpose of enhancing their personal growth and professional development.
- To provide consulting services to schools, parks and recreations departments, juvenile corrections institutions, and community based organizations in designing, developing, and implementing leadership development programs to assist 'at-risk', disadvantaged, and incarcerated youth and their families.
