We Unite, Train, and Educate

We unite parents, teachers, neighborhoods, and local businesses around their common interest in their children and communities.

We train youth to know that they can, believe that they will, and to honor those who help them in their process.

We educate youth, parents, and youth professions in Leadership Development.

Wu-Te (pronounced 'woo-tay') is an ancient Chinese expression used to describe the ultimate purpose for studying the disciplines of the martial and healing arts. According to the philosophy of Wu-Te (martial virtues) we study these disciplines for physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. And through our self-development we are able to show empathy and compassion towards others and contribute to the advancement and betterment of society. A student of this philosophy strives for excellence in all things and lives by the principle of Do No Harm.

The Wu-Te Performance Troupes is a Leadership Development Program for youth. Wu-Te fosters discipline, self-esteem, cooperation and teamwork, social responsibility, and a high ethical standard of behavior in each of the participants. The atmosphere of mentorship, belonging, and mutual support are effective defenses against juvenile delinquency, crime, drugs, and other poor lifestyle choices.

The Wu-Te Performance Troupes are Peer Mentors. They are being trained for Leadership. The Wu-Te Troupes perform beautifully choreographed traditional and contemporary martial arts, dance, and acrobatic techniques to the amazement of their peer and adult audiences. Their demonstrations reflect a high level of discipline and send a strong message of encouragement to other youth about making healthy lifestyle choices.
